Successful trials of TV on mobile phones scheduled in 2007 by Nokia in conjunction with national broadcaster Doordarshan, will open up a number of earning possibilities for mobile operators. Mobile VAS applications which broadcasts programs on basis of  demographic profiles, interest areas, defined content (e.g. bollywood shoes, reality shows) are expected to be developed. Specialised content generation, content databanks are expected to be bigger revenue generating sources.
